Management Development Program

ITM Business School, organized a management Development Program on “Work Life Harmony” on 15-10-2015. It was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Smt. Swarna Sudha S, Head- Digitization, Talent Development, TCS Ltd, Chennai, Dr Prasanna Sivanandam, Campus Head, ITM Business School, Chennai, Prof P V Jaikumar, Registrar, ITM Business School, Prof H Ahammed Shafi, Academic Coordinator and Prof Achu Sam K by lighting the lamp.













Dr. Prasanna Sivanandam welcomed the audience,a robust group of professionals from various corporate. Smt. Swarna Sudha S spoke about the significance of having a harmonious integration of various roles that an individual plays in their life. She also threw light on the importance of catering to the four quadrants of human needs namely one’s Physical needs, emotional needs, Spiritual needs and Social needs. Human life is dependent on each of these aspects; neither of which should be neglected. Mrs. Swarna thereby shared some practical ways by which one could tackle a busy schedule and at the same time not compromise on any of these crucial aspects.



It was followed by a panel discussion with eminent panelists like Ms. Mallika Sankar, Founder SAMM Juke Box, Mr. Ramachandran, TCS Chennai, Dr.VasukiMathivanan, Consultant Psychologist, Ms Madhavi Mallineni, VP – HCM Practice, Hexaware. They shared from their experience how they tried to achieve harmony in life with their respective roles and responsibilities. It was interesting discussion with Prof H Ahammed Shaffi as the moderator.


The third session had Sr Neelima from Bhrmakumari’s group of Institution sharing how letting go off one’s ego can help in maintaining peace in life. She also stressed on the need for giving importance to self.
Post lunch break, there was an interesting session by Yoga Guru Mr Vinod. With lots of fun filled activities he showed the importance of maintaining a healthy body and mind. He explained the various kind of yoga’s that we can practice in day to day life.

Feedback was collected, which saw tremendous appreciation from the participants about the program.
Participation certificates were distributed by Dr Prasanna Sivanandam and Prof P V Jaikumar.
Dr U Jayalakshmi delivered the valedictory address and Prof Achu Sam K proposed the vote of thanks.
