Induction Program – Day 5

The fifth day of induction program was inspiring the students to understand the stepping stones to success as well as helping to inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship.

SESSION: 1

The resource person for the first session was Mr. A K Narayanan who is a well known Chartered Accountant. He  shared with the students the “ Traits for Success”

 

He spoke about various topics like Time Management, Commitment, Value System and the need to identify a problem from its root. The various motivational stories shared by him encouraged the students.

SESSION :2

Mr. Vijaykumar, chief Mentor of India Trust and also chief mentor of Spell Bee International talked to the students about Entrepreneurship.

 
It was an interesting and interactive session where he shared the prospective of being an Entrepreneur and the steps towards becoming an entrepreneur. He spoke about the challenges faced by entrepreneur and how to overcome them.

SESSION :3

Dr Prasanna Sivanandam, Campus Head of ITM Chennai, spoke to the students about the need to be a good team player and discovering the team spirit.

Through The “Lost In Sea” exercise she explained to the students how to be solution focused and to develop conflict management skills while working as a team.
